Před námi měly finále holky, zaslouženě vyhrála Peťa Růžičková. Mládí jde rychle vpřed v podobě Elišky Adamovské, která si krásně dolezla pro 2. místo, třetí skončila stálice, i když spíš " lanařka", Edita Vopatová.
Naše finále začíná technickou jedničkou, leze se mi celkem dobře až do závěrečného přešlapávání, kde se nedokážu úplně srovnat, chyběl kousek, i když druhým pokusem padám z topu. Dvojka nástup z lišt a jdu přímo rovně do struktur, dále to "ojebávám" přímo rovně skokem do topu. Trojka je čistě silová, po prvním pokusu, kde se blbě srovnávám, druhým posílám. Čytřku nejdu silovým skokem, ale zleva přes golf a pohodlně dolézám do zóny, další kroky až do topu celkem jdou až na přidání druhé ruky do topu! Něco mě osvítí a vymýšlím levé beton koleno a celkem pohodlně přidávám.
Celkově tedy mám 3 bouldery na 4 pokusy a 4 zóny na 5 pokusů a stačí mi to na velmi krásné 2. místo! Pro mě TOP výsledek. Zaslouženě vyhrává brácha se 4 bouldery na 4 pokusy, třetí končí Kuba Hlaváček, gratulace. Teď k závodům samotným: za mě zklamání sice pěkné umístění, ale tím moje pozitivní hodnocení končí. Závod neproběhne bez pár komplikací, za sebe bych jmenoval: zdlouhavá registrace holek, málo záchodů, na třikrát předělávané výsledky kvaldy mužů, volný přístup v izolaci při kvaldě a postavené finále mužů, které jsme si mohli hodinu prohlížet. Ve Slaném má MČR jinou úroveň. K boulderům: kvalda za mě dost technická, bez výrazně silového boulderu, ale ve finále se to otáčí a je pravda, že to nahrálo silovým lezcům. Těším se na další závod.

At weekend the Czech Championship took place in Prague, at the Letná park. The qualification was running in the tropical heat and I was struggling to the very end of the time limit. In the end I climbed 7 boulders, which was enough to let me pass to the evening final.
The girls had their final before ours and the winner, Peťa Růžičková, really deserved it. As a representative of the young generation of talented climbers, Eliška Adamovská did great and ended up second, and the third was Edita Vopatová, who is more of a "rope climber".
Our final started with a technical boulder and I'm doing good until the final leg move comes, where I just cannot get it right. It was really close, though I fell from the top at the second attempt. The second boulder starts with ledges and then goes straight the structures, after these I "cheat" and jump straight to the top. Number three is a pure power boulder and I send it at the second attempt. With the fourth boulder I don't do the power jump but approach the zone comfortably over the golf hold at the left. The following moves are ok, except for grabbing the top with both hands. However, I have a moment of enlightement and find a trick with the knee and after that it's a piece of cake.
In total I have 3 boulders in 4 attempts and 4 zones in 5 attempts which means a great 2nd place - an amazing result. The winner is Martin, who really deserved it with his 4 boulders and 4 attempts, and Kuba Hlaváček is third - congratulations. About the competition as a whole - well, I was quite disappointed. I had a good score but that's all regarding the positive things to say. There were several drawbacks such as the tedious registration process for the girls, too few toilets, the results of the men's qualification which had to be corrected three times, the free access in the isolation during the qualification and the fact that we could see the final men's boulders for an hour before actual climbing. The Czech Championship in Slaný has entirely different quality. As for the boulders - the qualification was quite technical, without a power boulder and the final was quite the opposite - it's true that it was an advantage for the power climbers, though. Anyway, I'm looking forward to another competition.
