After a long time, finally on the rock!
So, after more than three months on sick leave, I finally managed to get closer to some rocks. After the long time of strict schedule, I felt liberated. The weather is pretty nasty so I ponder which overhang to choose. The choice is pretty clear, I and Peťa set off to Tisá skála (not far from Čáslav). After a few attempts, I manage to do a nice Viamala 7A+. Another boulder I want to tick off is Magion 7B+. It starts in the same fashion as the others but the line goes on to the far right corner. What a pity that there is a stone in the way. Anyway, it's OK and the boulder gets pretty difficult in the end; there are some nice steps you have to use. I try Švajc 3 7C till the end of the day, which is quite resisting. I am just not strong enough when I try the steps; I can't finish it without getting too tired so I am all in. I do about 20 atempts but I don't get angry at all -- because I simply missed all the moves on the rock and I am grateful for them now. I especially like one possible way with an interesting hold so I provisionaly name it Checchio Leone (about 8A - 8A+).
Konečně zase valíš, Štěpo! Paráda!
