Moravian Karst: Cigánská jeskyně
The original plan was going to Chřiby Mountains, but they are under the snow at this time. I thought the best would have been if we were hidden somewhere under the roof. There were two options: Ostrov u Macochy or the boulder centre. Ostrov it was. Martin and I created a nice line. We were tuning the line for quite a while, then there were some strong steps under the overhang. After about an hour, we started with the moves. Martin sent it at the second attempt without any difficulty and proceeded with a longer variant. Unfortunately, one hold did not last, which was a pity because it could have been a nice 8B. On the list is another option started from a hole which is now inder the ice. I had quite a hard time with the shorter track - there were some problems with my right foot on the first move. Fortunately I figured it out in a slightly different way, the rest was the same as Martin's. I actually have no idea how but after a few attempts, I did it. Zeta Reticuli 8A(+) was born. Martin also tried a very hard project on the left, which was the finale of our visit. On the way back, we also took a look at the boulder possibilities at Býčí skála and Jáchymka.
