Rakousko

Minulý týden jsme s Magnusem navštívili lom v Rakousku. Počasí nic moc, v Brně totálně šedá deka a mokro, na místě je to lepší, i když k podmínce to má pořád daleko. Hned si jdu zkusit Büdös Patkany ze stoje, je tam těžký a daleký krok do lišty přes levou patu, minule mi to nešlo vůbec, dnes po pár nálezech stojím nahoře. Koukám po variantě ze sedu, není to zase tak těžká pasáž, ale dohromady jsou obtíže znát. Nicméně po pár pokusech držím vrchní hranu a je to v kapse.

Síla je, tak chci omrknout novinku Kinshasa, pěkný lištový boulder od Thomase Fichtingera. Celkem rychle se mi daří rozluštit klíčovou pasáž a k mému úžasu na druhý pokus přelézám, bomba!

Magnus jde na Scarabeo, vyladí kroky a celou tuhle kompresi posílá. No když to tak pěkně dneska jde, tak si říkám, že bych mohl zkusit projekt Durchisichtige Dinge Low, supr lištovačka, ale lehce vlhké se mi to nedaří ani kroknout. Jdeme k Prometheovi, kde dá Magnus dvě céčka. Jedno z nich, Propetheus, se mi daří taky. Na závěr s pomocí čelovky přelézám hezký traverz Boardwalk Empire a tím končím velmi úspěšný výjezd.


Last week Magnus and me went to the quarry in Austria. The weather was miserable, a bit better in Austria than in Brno but the conditions were still poor. I immediately go for Büdös Patkany from standing, there is a far move to the ledge on the left over the left heel, last time I was hopeless, this time I'm at the top after several attempts. I check the sitting version, it doesn't look so bad but it gives me hard time until suddenly I get to the edge and I've got it.

I feel strong so I check the new Kinshasa boulder by Thomas Fichtinger. I figure out the crux quite quickly and to my astonishment I finish at the second attempt. Cool!

Magnus goes to Scarabeo, tries the moves and soon sends the whole thing. Well, we're doing quite well today, so I say to myself I could try the Durchisichtige Dinge Low project, a great boulder with many ledges, but it's all moist so I can't even do the single moves. After that we go to Prometheus, where Magnus climbs two Cs, and I finish one of these, Propetheus, too. In the end I take a headlamp and climb a nice travers called Boardwalk Empire. And this is the end of our successful trip.
