Lezeme tedy ve druhé skupině. Kvalda se zdá těžká, zapisuji 5 boulderů. Stopku mi dává průtlak a lištovka v převisu, i tak mi to stačí na postupové 7. místo. Ve finále lehká nervózita, ale jak dojdu pod první boulder, padá to ze mě. V jedničce zapisuji zónu, průtlak neudělám a na vzpor nepřijdu. Ve dvojce super špičky a pak ještě celkem peklo, se štěstím nepadám.
Trojka přes banány je vlastně o jednom brutálním kroku kolem zóny, pár pokusů a jsem v topu. Ve čtyřce si vybírám slabší chvilku, po rozluštění startu pádím do topu, držím ho jednou rukou, ale místo abych se snížil pod chyt, stojím v tom a nesmyslně přidávám druhou ruku. Škoda, tady byl top blízko. Celkově mi to stačí na vynikající třetí pozici, i když Štěpa Volf mě měl hodně na lopatě. Vyhrává Kuba Konečný se všemi přelezy a druhý je brácha. Skvělá práce stavěčů v kvalifikaci, byla velmi pestrá, vyvážené a těžké finále... Díky, kluci. Musím organizátory pochválit za průběh závodu, dodržení časového plánu a za mě pecka online průběžné výsledky i v kvalifikaci. Jediný problém byl s tou registrací. Už se těším do Žiliny.
On Saturday I go to the first nomination competititon to Jeseník, together with my brother. I believe we took part in the rope climbing competitions here in 1996 and 2000. It's amazing that we are back 20 years later to compete again. Everything is different now, a new bouldering gym is ready for us. We arrive before the registration and watch the girls' competition for a while, then we want to register and like in Lanškroun there are some issues again. We don't get it. Well, never mind...
We climb in the second group. The qualification seems tough, I finish 5 boulders. The mantel and the overhang stop me but I pass to the final from the 7th place anyway. I'm a bit nervous about the final but once I get under the first boulder it's all gone. I reach the zone of the first boulder but can't get through the mantel or figure out how to push and get up. The second boulder has cool toes and then it's very tricky, I'm lucky not to fall.
The third boulder is actually mostly about one cruel move, and after few attempts I'm up. With the fourth boulder I have my moment of weakness, after figuring out the beginning I hurry to the top but instead of lowering a bit I try to stand and add the second hand to the top, which is a total nonsense. Too bad, this one was really close. Overall I earn a wonderful third place, even though Štěpa Volf was very good and gave me hard time. The winner is Kuba Konečný who finished it all, followed by my brother. The builders did a great job with the qualification boulders, they were varied, their difficulty was well-balanced and the final was a real challenge, thanks, guys. Also I must praise the organizers for the smooth course of the competition, keeping the time schedule and I also really appreciated the online interim results of the qualification. The only issue was with the registration. I'm looking forward to Žilina.
